Septic Maintenance Contracts

Regular inspections for your aerobic unit on a set schedule. A visit looks at the aerator, the pump and control panel, the alarm, the disinfection stage and the spray heads or drip lines, so small problems get caught before they turn into a mess in the yard.

Septic Repairs

For the system that's acting up. Aerators that quit, pumps and float switches, control panels, alarms that keep going off, broken spray heads and drip lines that leave wet spots. We find the fault, explain it and fix it.

New Septic Installs

A new aerobic system for a new home or a replacement for one that's failed. That means the tanks, the control panel and alarm, disinfection and a spray or drip dispersal field, put in to a permitted design.

What an aerobic system is, and how it's cared for over time

An aerobic treatment unit works like a small treatment plant buried in your yard. An aerator pushes air into the treatment tank, and that oxygen lets bacteria break waste down further than an old-style tank can.

The water then settles in a clarifier, gets disinfected and goes to a pump tank, which sends it out through spray heads that water the yard or drip lines buried just under the surface.

More moving parts means more that can wear out, which is why it pays to have someone checking on the system for as long as it's in the ground.

  1. 1

    It goes in

A site evaluation, a design sized to the home and the lot, a permit from the local permitting authority, then installation and inspection. New Septic Installs covers this part.

  2. 2

    The first two years

In Texas, a new aerobic system comes with an initial two-year service policy that starts when the system is first used (for a new home, the builder's sale date), per TCEQ.

  3. 3

    Ongoing care

After that, the owner of a single-family home either maintains the system personally or signs a new maintenance contract, and a county may require a contract or training. Septic Maintenance Contracts covers what those visits look at.

  4. 4

    When something breaks

Aerators wear out, floats stick, mowers clip spray heads. Septic Repairs gets the system back to treating water the way it should.
